Pelicams G League team to hold tryouts in New Orleans on Sunday, September 8

Erie, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, announced today that the team will hold an open tryout on Sunday, September 8 at Tulane University Hertz Center (2800 Ben Weiner Drive, New Orleans, LA 70118). This one-day tryout will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. CT with doors opening at 9 a.m. CT. In order to properly register for this event, interested candidates must…

a.) Complete and sign the 2019 NBA G League Local Player Tryout Form, Player Release and Eligibility Form and Medical Consent and Authorization Form, found here. Forms can also be found on the BayHawks website at eriebayhawks.com.

b.) Pay a non-refundable $175.00 Registration Fee in the form of a Money Order or Cashier’s Check payable to the Erie BayHawks, or pay with a credit card through PayPal or by calling 814-790-5600.

c.) Scan the completed documents and send to accounting@nbaerie.com or mail the completed documents to the Erie BayHawks at 110 East Eighth Street, Erie, PA 16501.

Members of the BayHawks coaching staff and New Orleans Pelicans personnel will be in attendance to evaluate prospects throughout the tryout. Participants will go through a series of skills tests and scrimmages, competing for an invitation to BayHawks training camp.

The deadline to register for this open tryout is September 5 at 5 p.m. ET, or prior to all available spots being sold out. Space is limited and registration is subject to availability at the time that all completed forms and payment is received.
