Morten Andersen offers to help Carli Lloyd become NFL kicker
The best tend to gravitate towards each other. When it comes to kicking, that certainly appears to be true.
Legendary Saints kicker Morten Andersen has offered via Twitter to help women’s soccer star Carli Lloyd prepare to take on place-kicking a football if she intends to try to make a NFL team:
.@CarliLloyd, if you want to kick in the @nfl let me know, here to help! @TODAYshow @GMA pic.twitter.com/4LtA2zdkE0

Lloyd, the two-time World Cup winning American, could not do much better in the coaching department than the ‘Great Dane’ who transitioned as a teenager from soccer to American football.
Thank you to the @Eagles for having me out! Thanks to @JustinTuck @jake_elliott22 @MayorRandyBrown for the good time and tips! 🏈 🎯 #55yd pic.twitter.com/owZ16f46Th

Andersen, a member of the Pro Football, Louisiana Sports and Saints halls of fame, is the NFL’s second all-time leader scorer.
