Parking garage closure among impacts of Superdome renovations to affect Pelicans gameday

Parking Garage Closure + Important Lot Updates

Due to renovations at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, parking at the Smoothie King Center will be impacted beginning Feb. 28 through the rest of the season. Note the following parking facilities information:

Cash accepted at Garage 1 & Champions Garage only.
Passes accepted at Garage 2, Lot 3, Lot 3A, Lot 4, and Garage 5.
Garage 6 is temporarily closed.

Directions to Cash/Credit Parking Garages

Champions Garage:
East: Take I-10 West to Mercedes Benz Superdome Exit 235 B, turn right on Cleveland Avenue, turn right on Claiborne Avenue, turn left on Poydras Street, turn right on Loyola Avenue, turn right on Girod Street, follow traffic police direction into garage (Champions Garage is on the left past the US Post Office).

West: Take 1-10 East (use second lane from the right and stay on I-10 East – follow signs for Slidell), remain in left lane and take exit 234 B for Poydras Street to Mercedes-Benz Superdome, continue on to Poydras Street, turn right on Loyola Avenue, turn right on Girod Street, follow traffic police direction into garage (Champions Garage is on the left past the US Post Office).

South: Take Business 90/Westbank Expressway to Mississippi River Bridge, exit at O’Keefe Avenue, turn left on Girod Street, follow traffic police direction to garage (Champions Garage is on the left past the US Post Office).

Garage 1:
East: Take I-10 West to Mercedes-Benz Superdome Exit 235 B, turn right on Cleveland Avenue, turn right on Claiborne Avenue, turn left on Poydras Street turn right on Clara Street, turn left on Sugar Bowl Drive, follow traffic police direction to Garage #1.

West: Take 1-10 East (use the second from the right lane and stay on I-10 East – follow signs for Slidell), remain in left lane to take exit 234 B for Poydras Street to Mercedes-Benz Superdome, continue onto Poydras Street, merge into right lane, turn right on Clara Street, turn left on Sugar Bowl Drive, follow traffic police direction to Garage #1.

South: Take Business 90/Westbank Expressway to Mississippi River Bridge, exit at Camp Street, proceed to Poydras Street, turn left on Poydras Street, turn left on Clara Street, turn left on Sugar Bowl Drive, follow traffic police direction to Garage #1.
