Ouachita cancels opener with Neville due to COVID-19 quarantine

Multiple players on the Ouachita Parish football team have been quarantined after a recent opponent tested positive for COVID-19, reports KNOE Sports Director Aaron Dietrich.

As a result, the Neville vs. Ouachita season-opening matchup scheduled for Friday has been canceled. While Ouachita’s team is in quarantine, Dietrich indicates Neville is looking for a replacement opponent.

Ouachita played Franklin Parish in a scrimmage last week and one Franklin Parish player has since tested positive for the virus.
