Michael Arnaud

It’s been a great 2018 for Mandeville resident Michael Arnaud on the Web.com Tour.

Two months after his first career victory, Arnaud had another career highlight Friday with a hole-in-one in the second round of the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield, Missouri.

Three holes after his ace, Arnaud holed out for an eagle on the par-4 7th to get to 9-under-par for the round, but a double bogey-bogey finish gave him a second-round 66 and a 36-hole total of 135 (-9), good for a tie for 24th.

Arnaud, who won the BMW Charity Pro-Am in late May, needs to finish in the top 25 on the Web.com money list to earn his PGA Tour card for 2018-19. He’s squarely on the bubble entering this week, ranking 25th with earnings of $139,001.
