Magic Man’s look at Saturday’s Fair Grounds races

As we get into the opening weekend of racing here at the Fair Grounds 2018-19 racing season, most of you know I have been picking races here and around the country for a long while. Just yesterday I got a very salty email telling me that I can’t pick worth a darn.

To that guy I say this: first, thank you for reading my column and second, if you think you can do better, I am going to issue an open challenge to you. Let’s pick a racing day, preferably on a weekend and use a $100 budget on the Fair Grounds races only. After it’s over, let’s see if you still have a voice to run at me. I know my ability in handicapping races. I will let my handicapping do the talking.
