Marshall Louque

Marshall Louque continues to attract national attention for his baseball exploits.

The Lutcher High star and LSU commit has been invited to participate in the New Balance Future Stars Series Underclass Elite at Fenway Park with the best underclassmen in the nation Sept 29-Oct. 1.

Louque, who led the East Bank Little League Team to a World Series championship in 2019, led Lutcher to a state championship in 2022. He was part of Cypress Physical Therapy’s Crescent City Sports Prep Summer League championship team this year, playing in seven games.

In summer league play, Louque batted .389 with three doubles, a triple, a home run and three RBI and posted a 2-0 pitching record with no earned run average. Louque tossed 11 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and struck out 23.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Louque is entering his junior year at Lutcher. His fastball registers at 88-90 regularly and he has touched 92 miles per hour. He is a good hitter as well, playing shortstop when he does not pitch.
