LSU currently stands with 21 pledges for the 2020 signing class. I fully expect some attrition to take place in the foreseeable future, allowing the Tigers to add a few of the high profile names that they have been pursuing.

This weekend, the Tigers could add one or two additional coveted prospects to the pledge list. In fact, it is more likely that they will gain one and lose one.

Coveted defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy, a one-time pledge to the Purple and Gold, is scheduled to make his final decision Friday. The 6-foot-4, 290 pounder from Baton Rouge last visited LSU June 14th. It will come down to LSU, Texas A&M and Alabama.

Also declaring this weekend will be elite running back Kendall Milton (6-2, 229). The Clovis, California product will make his intentions known Monday. He visited LSU (June 7th), Georgia (June 14th) and Alabama (June 21st). His top four include those three programs and Ohio State. Most insiders have him pegged for either Ohio State or Georgia. We’ll find out Monday.

Who are other current targeted Tiger prospects for 202? Let’s run the list down:

Running back Zachary Evans (5-11, 200), a five-star player from Houston. LSU made the final cut along with Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia and Ohio State. Watch out for the Aggies and Georgia.
Note: Depending on what happens with Milton and Evans, LSU will need to add a running back. Keep Keyvonne Lee in mind as an option as well. The 6-0, 223-pound Lee is a four-star prospect from Clearwater, Florida and has LSU, Penn State, Florida and Florida State as his favorites. Assistant coach Tommy Robinson is giving the pitch to Lee for the Tigers. He is a power back with a strong lower body, quick burst, ability to change direction quickly and solid receiving skills.

Defensive back Lathan Ransom (6-1, 193) is from Tucson, Arizona. His top seven schools include LSU, Ohio State, Texas, UCLA, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and USC. Bill Busch is the assistant coach pitching the projected safety for LSU.
Defensive tackle Jacobian Guillory (6-2, 331) four-star player from Alexandria Senior High. He last visited Tigertown June 21st. The Tigers hold the upper hand over Alabama and Texas.
Cornerback Marco Domio (6-2, 190) Blinn Junior College. This four-star prospect has LSU and Texas A&M at the top, with Auburn, Alabama and Kentucky slightly behind.
Offensive tackle Brady Ward (6-7, 310) is from Mobile, Alabama. This three-star prospect likes Oklahoma, LSU is in decent shape, Alabama, Arkansas and Kentucky are in the sweepstakes. His dad Brian played at LSU in the 1990’s.
Outside linebacker Phillip Webb (6-4, 224) Buford, Ga. The four-star prospect has LSU, Alabama and Auburn as his top three. He is a tremendous athlete. Webb had 86 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks last season. He visited LSU June 21st. Clemson and Ole Miss are in mix.
Defensive end Reggie Grimes (6-4 1/2, 240) is rated four-stars from Brentwood, Tennessee. He has Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee, South Carolina and Vandy as his top five.
Defensive tackle Vernon Broughton (6-5, 286) is another four-star player from Houston. Arkansas, LSU, Ohio State, Texas and Texas A&M.
Tackle Chad Lindberg (6-7, 327) is rated four-stars from League City, Texas. James Cregg is recruiting for LSU. Georgia and LSU trail Texas at this time.
Wide receiver E.J. Williams (6-3, 188) is rated four-stars from Phenix City. Williams has Clemson as his favorite with LSU, Alabama and Auburn comprising the rest of the top four.
Offensive tackle Marcus Dumervil (6-5, 300) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida is another to watch. LSU is in great shape, thanks to Cregg. Oklahoma, Alabama and Louisville are other finalists.
Defensive back Xavion Alford (6-0, 178) runs a 4.55 forty. The four-star safety from Pearland, Texas recorded 61 tackles and 20 pass breakups last season. He also picked off six passes, including one he took to the house. LSU, Alabama, Texas and Texas A&M are his top four.
Running back Ashaad Johnson (6-0, 200) of Warren Easton may be the best running back in Louisiana this season. LSU is the odds-on favorite over Georgia, Alabama and Kansas.
Cornerback Dwight McGlothern (6-2, 180) is ranked four-stars from Spring, Texas. LSU, USC, Oregon, Michigan, Georgia and Arkansas are in the mix.
Wide receiver Koy Moore (6-1, 174) of Archbishop Rummel is a one-time commit to USC. LSU appears to be favorite thanks to Mickey Joseph. Oregon, Florida and Florida State are in the mix. The Tigers made up a lot of ground in the last few months.
Inside linebacker Bryson Eason (6-2, 250) is ranked four-stars from Memphis, TN. LSU, Miss. State, Florida and Arkansas are his top four.
Defensive end Greg Hudgins (6-4, 230) of Washington DC has not visited LSU yet, but the Tigers join Maryland, Vanderbilt, Purdue and UCLA in the pursuit.
Defensive tackle Montra Edwards (6-3, 285) of Lexington, Kentucky is ranked three-stars and has Mississippi State at the top with LSU, Ole Miss and Oregon next.
Defensive end Chantz Williams (6-4, 238) of Orange Park, Florida likes Miami, LSU, Florida and Georgia as top four.
Running back Lamy Constant (6-0, 186) is ranked four-stars out of Brooklyn, NY. LSU, Michigan State, West Virginia and Texas A&M are in the running with the Mountaineers the favorite.
Linebacker Brandon Williams (6-3, 230) of Newman is ranked as a four-star prospect. He could be the first Newman Greenie signed by LSU since since Odell Beckham Jr. Assistant coaches Dave Aranda and Mickey Joseph are working on him. LSU, Florida and Tennessee are his three favorites.
Running back Darvon Hubbard (6-0, 200) is a four-star recruit from Surprise, Alabama but he is originally from Akron, OH. Hubbard is drawing keen interest from LSU, Purdue and Tennessee.
Defensive end Donell Harris (6-4, 210) out of Miami, Florida was a Miami commit but backed out June 13th. This four-star player had 73 tackles and 21 sacks last season. He runs a 4.82 forty and flashes freakish skills. Harris could be a stand-up player in a 3-4 defense. LSU offered him on May 3rd. The Tigers have his attention along with Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M and Auburn.

A 2021 prospect to keep an eye on is linebacker Dylan Brooks. The 6-5, 206 pound Brooks named his top 15, and LSU is on the list. The five-star talent is the 24th overall prospect for the in his class and the No. 2 ranked defensive end/linebacker in the country.

Brooks had 55 stops, including 17 for loss with nine sacks as a sophomore in 2018. The site 247 Sports compare him to Bradley Chubb, the current Denver Broncos standout, at the same stage of development. Brooks overmatches blockers with his speed and hands. He is very physical and a pass rushing extraordinaire who can also add 30-35 pounds. Clemson, Auburn and Alabama are viewed as current top three.
