LSU at LTU basketball

RUSTON – Fans will get to see Louisiana Tech and LSU face off again on the hardwood in 2020 as the two in-state programs will play a neutral-site game at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City.

LA Tech travelled to face LSU in Baton Rouge in 2018 and the two teams met in Ruston over a month ago in the Hoops 4 Disaster Relief exhibition game. On Nov. 24, 2020, they will battle it out in northwest Louisiana on a neutral floor. The Bulldogs will serve as the home team for the event.

“This event is a tremendous opportunity to showcase college basketball in our great state and we are excited to be a part of it,” said head coach Eric Konkol. “We appreciate our fans in Shreveport-Bossier for traveling across I-20 to Ruston for our home games. This brings a quality game to them.

“We have played LSU in Baton Rouge and Ruston the past two seasons and look forward to competing against them again next season at the CenturyLink Center.”

This will mark the first time LA Tech will play inside the 14,000-seat arena since 2016 when they defeated Grambling State in the Shreveport-Bossier Holiday Classic.

Tickets for the event will go on sale in the spring of 2020 and LTAC giving history will serve as the primary factor in seat allocation. To become an LTAC member today, visit www.latechalumni.org/LTAC.

A tip time will be determined at a later date.
