Two-time defending 5A state champion Zachary is No. 72. The Broncos have a brilliant quarterback in Keilon Brown and 5-star receiver Chris Hilton leading David Brewerton’s squad.

Checking in at No. 76 is West Monroe. The Rebels finished second in 5A a year ago and have outstanding defenders in Dontrell Cobbs and Brooks Miller

Noticeably absent is three-time Class 4A defending state champion Karr and the Cougars are loaded again in 2019 under Brice Brown. Jamie Vance is a top recruit.

Other teams to watch include Warren Easton, Catholic of Baton Rouge and Archbishop Rummel.
