New Orleans – The New Orleans Jesters take on Tallahassee SC Saturday night at Pan American Stadium; gates open at 6 with kickoff set for 7.

The Jesters are unbeaten (two wins and two ties) in their last four matches and enter the game in third position in the NPSL Gulf Coast standings.

“The players have been fantastic in the month of June and they thoroughly deserved the results that they have achieved,” said New Orleans Jesters Head coach Kenny Farrell. “Their enthusiasm to work hard and focus has been great to see and if they continue with the same mindset there is no reason that the positive results will not keep coming. This is an important game for us and we will be doing our very best to play well and perform at a high level for our home fans.”

The top four teams will advance to the postseason, currently New Orleans (3-2-3) are six points behind Southern States SC (6-3-0) but have played a game less.

The Jesters fought back to earna 1-1 tie in their last match played last Saturday night on the road versus AFC Mobile.

Striker Sheldon Green tallied the lone Jesters goal, his team-leading fifth of the season.

Goalkeeper Lamoy Graham was unfortunate not to keep a fourth consecutive clean-sheet. The AFC Mobile goal came from a deflected shot that looped over the goalkeeper into the top corner. It was the first goal that Graham has conceded this season.

The New Orleans Jesters and Tallahassee SC met back on June 5 and played to a hard-fought 0-0 tie. Tallahassee (1-5-3) enters the game in 6th position in the Gulf Coast Standings.
