Girls Bowling: Chapelle stays perfect, Patrick Taylor and Mount Carmel get wins

Archbishop Chapelle is one win away from a perfect regular season.

The Chipmunks showed their depth Monday in a 26-1 victory over Kenner Discovery at Westside Lanes in Harvey.

What is likely the deepest girls lineup in Louisiana had six different bowlers top 200 on Monday: Addison Belle (235) and Elizabeth Hamilton (237) in the opening game, Cassidy Schroder (204) and Olivia Bares (243) in the middle game, and Taylor Bourdonnay (216) and Alexandra Young (213) in the finale.

Chapelle (11-0) had a 3,147 team series. The Chipmunks entered Monday fourth in the latest LHSAA girls bowling power rankings.

Taylor Daniels’ final-game 144 was the best of the day for the Swamp Owls (4-6).

Gabrielle Viviano had a 186 final game and a 501 series to lead Patrick Taylor (8-2), 10th in the latest power rankings.

Layla Boudreaux’s final game 113 was the best of the day for Fisher (0-10).

Mount Carmel 22, Cabrini 5: The Cubs defeated the Crescents at Bowlero Kenner.

Emily Heller had a final-game 166 as part of a 458 series to lead Mount Carmel (5-4), which was 19th in the power rankings entering Monday.

Jenna Trabeaux led Cabrini (3-7) with a 433 series.
