Former Tulane defensive lineman Tanzel Smart signs with Bills

Tanzel Smart

The Buffalo Bills have signed former Tulane star Tanzel Smart.

A defensive tackle, Smart spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, playing in 31 games with four starts with 21 tackles from 2017 to 2019. He was a sixth round draft pick of the Rams in 2017.

A Baton Rouge native and former Scotlandville High star, Smart lettered four years at Tulane from 2013 to 2016. An first-team all-conference performer as a junior and senior, he played in 48 career games with 36 starts for the Green Wave.
