Kelly Bryant

Perhaps the nation’s top-rated grad eligible quarterback for the 2019 season is set to make his decision. Former Clemson signal caller Kelly Bryant decided to transfer from Clemson on September 26th after losing the job to true freshman Trevor Lawrence.

Bryant, 6-foot-3, 222 pounds, threw for 3,338 yards with 16 scoring passes and 10 interceptions during his tenure at Clemson. He was one of 11 finalists for the Manning Award and a semifinalist for the Davey O’Brien Award last season. His cousin Martavius Bryant is a five-year veteran in the NFL, now with Oakland.

With a decision planned for December 4th, Bryant is visiting Auburn this weekend, after stops at Missouri, North Carolina, Arkansas and Mississippi State. A final visit to Miami was cancelled. Auburn and Missouri are the frontrunners for the college version of a big time free agent. Bryant, who started 18 games at Clemson with 16 win, will be immediately eligible to play for the ’19 campaign.
