St. Charles Catholic

Most local and statewide entities still do not rank St. Charles Catholic as the top team in Select Division III.

Crescent City Sports has ranked the Comets No. 1 since the start of the season. That was appropriate, given the fact that St. Charles Catholic has won two consecutive state titles. They’ve gone unbeaten so far this season. The ranking is justified.

That became even more evident today when the Comets earned the No. 1 seed in the LHSAA Select Division III playoffs in the release of the state’s eight playoff brackets.
