The first injury report for the New Orleans Saints ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Detroit Lions is extensive.

There is a glimmer of hope as Chris Olave, who remains in concussion protocol, was limited, not out, an indication that he may have a chance to play Sunday.

The bad news is that five others were out, including Cam Jordan (ankle), Marcus Maye (shoulder), Kendre Miller (ankle), Rashid Shaheed (thigh) and Pete Werner (shoulder/oblique).

Additionally, Erik McCoy, Ryan Ramczyk and Blake Grupe were limited, the latter explaining why the Saints tried out multiple kickers Tuesday. Grupe is battling a right groin injury.

Detroit is in much better shape.

Only former Saints linebacker Alex Anzalone was out Wednesday, with a hand injury. Six others were limited, including fine running back David Montgomery.
