Ehret’s Royal Falgout named GNO Quarterback Club Prep Player of Week
John Ehret quarterback Royal Falgout has been selected as the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Prep Player of the Week for the metro New Orleans area for week eight by the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club, Crescent City Sports, NASH ICON 106.1 FM and WGNO/WNOL Friday Night Football.
A senior, Falgout rushed 17 times for 255 yards and three touchdowns and completed 9 of 15 passes for 109 yards and fourth touchdown in a 33-28 win at Chalmette in a showdown for the District 8-5A lead.
A two-time Most Valuable Player in 8-5A, Falgout is coached by Reggie Rogers.
“Royal is a passionate young man that embodies the attitude of John Ehret,” Rogers said. “He is a tough kid with a big heart. He came up big for us in a big situation.”
