Delgado closes men’s basketball season with 98-82 loss in Region XXIII Quarterfinals

The Delgado Men’s Basketball team closed its 2021 campaign Tuesday evening with a 98-82 loss to Northeast Mississippi Community College in Boonesville, Mississippi in the quarterfinals round of the 2021 Region XXIII Tournament.

Delgado trailed Northeast 47-37 at the half and never recovered in the second half before falling 98-82. Brandon Davis led the Dolphins with 25 points. Tylor Harris had 18 and Donte Mitchell had 13. Traysion WIlburn had 8 rebounds.

With the loss, Delgado closes its 2021 season 7-7.
