Boys/Co-Ed Bowling: Jesuit, Shaw, Patrick Taylor pitch shutouts to stay unbeaten

Jesuit rolled a 3,435 team series and stayed unbeaten Monday with a 27-0 shutout of St. Augustine at Bowlero Kenner.

The Blue Jays (5-0) were consistent with games of 1,142, 1,154 and 1,139.

Grant Gehring led Jesuit with a 644 series on games of 207-222-215. Nicholas Womble’s 249 opening game was the best of the day for the Blue Jays.

Terril Franklin had a 132 middle game and 375 series to lead St. Augustine (0-6).

Archbishop Shaw 27, St. Therese 0: The Eagles got big scores from throughout the lineup and stayed perfect in blanking the Phoenix at Westside Lanes in Harvey.

Jonathan Arena’s 256, his only game of the day, was the best of the day for Shaw (5-0). Riley Elwood had games of 235 and 232, while Zachary Tran had games of 226 and 211.

Shaw has dropped only three of a possible 135 points this season.

St. Therese, bowling short-handed, fell to 0-6.

Patrick Taylor 27, Fisher 0: The Tigers blanked the Gators at Westside to remain unblemished.

Jadon Lieu’s 570 series and Zachary Nguyen’s 567, which included a middle-game 246, paced the effort for Patrick Taylor (5-0).

Chad Dubea had a 204 middle game to lead Fisher (0-4).

Archbishop Rummel 23, John Curtis Christian 4: The Raiders had a 3,388 team series to stay unbeaten with a win over the Patriots at Bowlero.

Anthony Linker had games of 246 and 220 to lead Rummel (4-0). Five other Raiders topped 200, including Blake Caire, who had a 236 in his only game.

Ryder Kauffman had a 649 series and claimed two points at No. 5 for John Curtis (3-2), while anchor Carter Santangelo had a 624.

Holy Cross 20, Destrehan 7: The Tigers also remained unbeaten by defeating the Wildcats at Bowlero.

Holy Cross (4-0) rolled a 3,260 team series, led by Brock Lewis’s 650 set, which was capped with a 266 final game. Alex Tran had a 256 finale for the Tigers.

Beau Senior claimed three points from the anchor spot with a 621 series on games of 201-217-203 for Destrehan (2-3).

Brother Martin 26, East Jefferson 1: The Crusaders rolled past the Warriors at Colonial Lanes in Harahan.

Jeremiah Cordero led Brother Martin (2-1) with a 667 series on games of 225-230-212. Five other Crusaders rolled 200 games as part of a 3,337 team series.

Haven Haynes had a 177 final game and Gabriella Appenzeller had a 163 opener to claim the lone point for East Jefferson (0-5).

Belle Chasse 23, Crescent City Christian 4: The Cardinals stayed unbeaten, defeating the Pioneers at Westside.

Bryce Shepherd had games of 213 and 202 to lead Belle Chasse (3-0). Evan Shepherd had a 531 series.

Evan Tate and Preston Worley each had 135 games to pace Crescent City (1-4).
