Patrick Taylor broke it open with five runs in the bottom of the fourth to make it 8-2. The Lions scored a run in the top of the sixth but it was not enough.

The Tigers scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game and Holy Cross broke through for four runs in the top of the eighth to secure a huge win.

Ryan Smilari drove in three runs, Luke St. Amant had two hits and two RBI and Gavin Schulz, Adrian Aguilar and Davis Stephens each added an RBI for Holy Cross (2-4).
