Riverside rolls over Ecole Classique

Riverside Academy traveled to Metairie and rolled over Ecole Classique 11-0 in a District 9-1A contest Wednesday.

Thomas Mazzella pitched a complete game two-hitter for the Rebels. Luke Hymel and Brennan Maus each had two hits to pace the Riverside offense.

The Rebels (12-11, 3-2) will next travel to meet Lusher Charter Friday at 4 p.m. while the Spartans (8-6, 2-5) will return to district play, hosting Crescent City Christian today at 3:30 p.m.
