Academy of Our Lady, East St. John and Thomas Jefferson posted wins Monday.

The Penguins handled St. Mary’s Academy 25-10, 25-19, 25-9 in a non-district matchup in New Orleans. AOL (19-8) snapped a two-match losing streak and will next host Landry-Walker Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in District 8-II action. St. Mary’s (6-11) plays at Newman this afternoon at 5:30 p.m. in District 7-IV play.

East St. John downed Karr in four sets, winning 25-22, 15-25, 25-20, 25-22 to snap a five-match losing streak. The Wildcats (13-12) return to District 6-1 action today at 5 p.m. The Cougars (24-12) return to District 8-II action today at 4:30 p.m. at Helen Cox.

Thomas Jefferson took care of Ecole Classique 25-12, 25-19, 25-19. The Jaguars (21-11) snapped a four-match losing streak with the win and will play at Sophie B. Wright today at 4 p.m. in District 6-IV action. The Spartans (11-11) saw their four-match win streak end with the loss and will play at First Baptist Christian today at 4:30 p.m. in District 7-V action.
