WGSO Radio to air doubleheader Saturday with Brother Martin-Warren Easton, Rummel-Escambia

WGSO 990 AM and WGSO.com will air a doubleheader featuring four outstanding teams Saturday.

At 2 p.m., Brother Martin (1-0) will battle Warren Easton (1-0) at Tad Gormley Stadium.

The Crusaders are coming off of a solid 35-14 victory at Petal, Miss. while the second-ranked Eagles (class 4A) defeated Jesuit 27-14 last week.

CrescentCitySports.com’s Jude Young of WGSO will have the call of the game, along with former Crusader stars Chad Larose and Leni Sumich on analysis as well as WGSO’s Matt Sims on the sidelines, beginning with the pre-game show at 1:45 p.m.

At 7 p.m., Archbishop Rummel (1-0) hosts Escambia, FL (2-0) at Joe Yenni Stadium.

The Raiders opened the season with a 34-6 win at Gulfport, Miss. while the Gators opened the season with a 23-20 win over West Florida before defeating Archbishop Shaw 42-13.

CrescentCitySports.com’s Ken Trahan of WGSO will have the call of the game, along with former Raider athletic director Phil Greco and former Rummel head coach Easten Roth.
