West Monroe ran through and around the Neville Tigers in a 41-14 triumph at Bill Rupple Stadium Friday night.

The Rebels amassed 326 yards on 48 carries and fullback Cayden Pierce scored two touchdowns rushing and one receiving to pace the Rebels (4-1).

Dee Williams continued his great campaign with 122 yards and two scores.

After Neville had pulled within 14-7 in the second quarter, West Monroe scored 14 points in 23 seconds on a Lane Little touchdown pass to Pierce of 47-yards and a 48-yard interception return by Tanner Zordan.

It sparked a run of 27 straight points by the Rebels to put the game away.

Pierce said despite some early turnover trouble, the team kept it together on the road and was able to put the last play behind them to keep moving forward and into district at Alexandria next week.

“O-Line is great,” Pierce said. “They were just making holes and I was running through them. We just kept on trucking. Kept on pushing through.”
