NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of New Orleans men’s basketball game against Texas A&M Commerce scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday has been moved up to 1 p.m. due to severe weather in the forecast.

The game will air on ESPN+ and 106.1 NASH FM with Jude Young on the call.

Earlier on Sunday, Orleans Parish Schools announced early dismissals on Monday due to the potential threat of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. While the University of New Orleans remains open, the athletics department has decided to move the game up to ensure the safety of the student-athletes, staff and fans.

Following Monday’s game, New Orleans will host Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Saturday, Jan. 13 to close out a three-game homestand.
