Tulane to face Tulsa in first round of 2021 AAC Men’s Basketball Championship

NEW ORLEANS – With the conclusion of the regular season, the Tulane men’s basketball team will head to the 2021 Air Force Reserve American Athletic Conference Championship as the No. 10 seed to face No. 7 seed Tulsa in the tournament’s first round on Thursday, March 11 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., at Dickies Arena, and the game will be televised nationally on ESPNU. The winner advances to Friday’s second round to face No. 2 seed and ninth-ranked Houston at 6 p.m., on ESPNU.

Tulane (9-12, 4-12 AAC) and Tulsa (11-11, 7-9 AAC) met once during the regular season on Feb. 10, as the Green Wave escaped Tulsa with a 58-48 road win thanks to 20 points by sophomore Jaylen Forbes and 13 points off the bench by freshman Jadan Coleman.
