St. Tammany, Washington and Tangipahoa parish schools excel during 2020-2021 year

With the summer now in full swing and all of the LHSAA sports seasons completed, it is time again to take a look back at the the past year for the schools on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain.

At the beginning of every season, one of the goals of every team is to win a state championship. The reality is, most do not reach that level. So when a team brings home a state title, feelinga of acomplishment and pride are felt throughout the team, coaching staff and school community.

Below you will find team state champions and state runners up as well individual all-state honorees. Overall, the schools on the north shore enjoyed many very impressive results in many LHSAA competitions.

The school in total brought home 12 State Champion team titles, 14 State Runner Up team titles and eight third-place honors. As for individual titles , a total of 64 State Champions brought gold medals home, while 65 State Runners Up took silver medals and 57 bronze medals were won.
