Southeastern, UNO make changes to Pontchartrain Bowl schedule

HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana has altered its weekend schedule for the Pontchartrain Bowl series against Southland Conference-rival New Orleans.

The Lions (10-5) and UNO (6-8) will now play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. The nightcap will commence approximately 45 minutes following the completion of the first game of the doubleheader.

The move wipes out Sunday’s scheduled game at Maestri Field in New Orleans, Louisiana.

With the Southeastern men’s basketball team advancing to the championship game of the Southland Conference Tournament, there will be no local radio coverage of the baseball doubleheader. Fans can keep up with all the action through streaming video, live statistics or by following @SLUathletics on Twitter.

Tickets for Lion home games can be purchased online at www.LionSports.net/Tickets or by contacting the Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office at (985) 549-5466.

General Admission tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for children (ages 3-12). Tax is included in the price of admission. Southeastern students are admitted free with a valid university ID card.

Students and campus organizations can earn points toward their Lion Up Loyalty account at any home game by checking in on the mobile app while in attendance.
