SLU-UNO baseball finale postponed until Saturday afternoon

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The series finale for the Southland Conference matchup between the Southeastern Louisiana University and the University of New Orleans baseball teams has been postponed due to excessive rain.

Southeastern (16-15, 3-5 SLC) and the Privateers (18-13, 4-4 SLC) will now play their series finale at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maestri Field.

New Orleans will be going for the series sweep after sweeping both ends of a Thursday doubleheader. The Privateers outscored Southeastern by a combined 32-2 in the two run-rule victories.
