Report: Saints WR Michael Thomas ruled out for Monday night after altercation with teammate
The New Orleans Saints announced Sunday that they have ruled wide receiver Michael Thomas out of their game Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers. He has been trying to recover from an injured ankle but that’s not the reason.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported that Thomas has been sidelined for disciplinary reasons because he had an “altercation with a teammate at practice.” NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero later indicated that defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson was the the New Orleans teammate in question.
