Although Taysom Hill appears set to return to action, the Saints have decided on Trevor Siemian as their starting quarterback for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

After coming off the bench and leading New Orleans to a 36-27 win last week over Tampa Bay, Siemian will have a chance to prove he can continue his solid play. He threw for 159 yards and a touchdown after Jameis Winston suffered a season ending knee injury in the first half against the Bucs.

However, it is expected that Hill will return to his role as a multi-use player who will take snaps behind center at times to bring his dual-threat talents to the offense.

Hill started at QB in a pair of wins over the Falcons last season.

New Orleans (5-2) and Atlanta (3-4) kick off Sunday at noon inside the Caesars Superdome.
