New Orleans Saints are signing running back Devine Ozigbo off the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad to their active roster, pending a physical, according to a league source. Former undrafted free agent from Nebraska signed with Saints originally in 2019

Ozigbo, originally an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska, was cut by the Saints at the end of the preseason in 2019 and added to the practice squad before Jacksonville signed him to their active roster.
After he was carted off Sunday in the loss to the Giants, Jones was replaced by Dwayne Washington and hybrid back/receiver Ty Montgomery in the role of the primary backup to Alvin Kamara. Both veteran reserves have had over 100 yards rushing in games before for New Orleans but Washington is mostly on the roster for his special teams contribution while Montgomery seems to have found a home this season as a wideout.
