Health officials including the mayor’s advisers were also present at the meeting.
Dissatisfied with the mayor’s stance to not allow fans based on current state guidelines, the Saints met with LSU officials about possibly playing home games at Tiger Stadium. The Athletic’s Jeff Duncan reported that the team will play at least their next two home games in the Dome due to scheduling complications with home games for the Tigers in Baton Rouge scheduled for the day before Saints matchups with the Panthers (this Sunday) and 49ers (November, 15).
The Saints will have four more regular season home games after the Panthers matchup.
