Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson tests positive for coronavirus

New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Benson, 73, is under daily medical care and is doing well in her recovery, Saints senior vice president of communications Greg Bensel told The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate in a text message.

Benson tested positive for COVID-19 within the last couple of weeks, Bensel said.
