Rummel-Jesuit baseball to air live Thursday on 106.1 FM

The second game of the district series between Archbishop Rummel and Jesuit will be broadcast live Thursday on NASH ICON 106.1 FM and at NASHFM1061.com.

The pre-game show begins at 12:45 p.m. with the play-by-play at 1 p.m. from John Ryan Stadium in Metairie.

Cumulus New Orleans Sports Director Ken Trahan of CrescentCitySports.com will call the game while former Major League pitcher Kirk Bullinger and Les East of CrescentCitySports.com and NASH ICON 106.1 FM will provide analysis.

Jesuit (20-5, 5-2) has won seven straight games after taking game one of the series 5-4 Monday night in a game heard live on 106.1 FM. Hunter Oufnac leads the Blue Jays in hitting at .452 with a home run and 19 RBI while Michael Brothers is batting .429 with 10 RBI.

Rummel (17-10, 6-3) is led by Brock Bullinger, who is hitting .413 with a homer and 25 RBI while LSU commit Mikey Ryan is hitting .400 with three homers and 19 RBI.
