The New Orleans Saints are expected to hire Andrew Janocko as their new quarterbacks coach, reports ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The 35-year old Janocko previously served as the Chicago Bears quarterbacks coach and worked with new Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak during their time together with the Minnesota Vikings. Janocko had several roles on Minnesota’s staff including quarterbacks coach in 2021 under Kubiak as the OC before leaving for Chicago.

Janocko played college football at Pitt as a backup quarterback and special teams holder for place kicks.

Meanwhile, DJ Williams is leaving the Saints after five years in staff to become the assistant quarterbacks coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

The son of Super Bowl champion quarterback Doug Williams also played at Grambling State like his father.
