Report: Saints starting quarterback expected to be named this week

We should know who the starting quarterback for the Saints for their regular season opener is before the end of the week.

Head coach Sean Payton told NBC’s Peter King that he hopes to name a starter before the final preseason game for New Orleans on Saturday night against Arizona.

The battle between Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill continues tonight with Winston taking the first Saints snaps against the Jaguars. Hill started the first preseason game at Baltimore.
