LSU has paused activities in men’s basketball because of COVID-19, according to Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, and will not play South Florida Saturday in Atlanta.

While no announcement has come from the university as of yet, the Tigers and USF were scheduled to play Saturday at State Farm Arena as part of the day-long Holiday Hoopsgiving event.

Depending on the length of the reported pause, it could also impact all or part of LSU’s non-conference home stand against New Orleans (Dec. 16), North Texas (Dec. 19) and VCU (Dec. 22).
