Report: Josh Richardson, Heat agree to two-year contract
Josh Richardson’s stay with the Pelicans was a short one.
The veteran guard and the Miami Heat agreed to a two-year contract Friday, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports.
Free agent Josh Richardson has agreed on a two-year deal with the Miami Heat, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Richardson returns to the franchise that drafted him in 2015.

Richardson spent the first four seasons of his eight-year NBA career with the Heat.
The Pelicans acquired Richardson in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs for Devonte’ Graham and four second round picks.
The 6-foot-6 Richardson played 23 games in the regular season for New Orleans, averaging 7.5 points in just over 23 minutes per outing.
