Region XXIII Championship Series between Delgado and Baton Rouge CC heads to UNO this weekend

The 2018 Region XXIII Division I Championship Series between Delgado and Baton Rouge Community College enters the home stretch this weekend as the series heads to its neutral site, the University of New Orleans, for the final games.

The final three games are slated to played at Maestri Field at First NBC Ballpark. Game 5 will be played at 1:00 Saturday and if necessary, the teams will return for a 1:00 doubleheader on Sunday.

Delgado currently leads the best-of-seven series 3-1. The winner of the series advances to the NJCAA South Central District Championship to be hosted by the Region II champion in Oklahoma on May 17-20.
