Recruiting: 2024 forward Robert Miller III commits to LSU men’s basketball

LSU coach Matt McMahon received good news Friday.

Four-star forward Robert Miller out of Pasadena, Texas became the first commitment in the 2024 class for the Tigers.

The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Miller is ranked as the No. 2 player in Texas according to 247Sports and is a consensus Top 50 recruit in the class nationally. He chose the Tigers over Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Colorado.

His father Robert II is a former LSU football player while his mother Teana (McKiver) Miller played basketball at Tulane.
