Shazz Preston Class 3A title game

The Tulane Green Wave under new head coach Jon Sumrall have raised some eyebrows with their latest catch from the transfer portal.

Former four-star wide receiver Shazz Preston has decided to transfer to Tulane.

The St. James High School product was the third ranked receiver by ESPN in the 2022 class and a Top 50 overall recruit in the 2022 class according to On3. He helped the Wildcats go 15-0 and win the LHSAA Class 3A state title as a sophomore.

The 6-foot, 202-pound Preston spent two years with the Crimson Tide but did not record a reception. He appears in five games this past season on special teams.

Preston chose Alabama out of high school over LSU, Georgia and Texas.
