Police: Charges against Michael Thomas not dropped, but in pre-trial diversion

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Former Saints player Michael Thomas’ charges in Kenner were dismissed, according to his attorney. However, the Kenner Police Department said his charges remain open on Wednesday, March 20.

According to Thomas’ attorney Daniel “Becket” Becnel, Thomas’ misdemeanor criminal charges were dismissed by the Kenner City Attorney’s Office.

Thomas was arrested by the Kenner Police Department in connection to a battery incident on Friday, Nov. 10 outside of his home.
