Pelicans recall Dyson Daniels from Squadron

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has recalled guard Dyson Daniels from the Birmingham Squadron, the team’s NBA G League affiliate.

Daniels, 6-7, 203, has appeared in 52 games (15 starts) this season for New Orleans, averaging 5.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals in 21.9 minutes per game.

Daniels appeared in one game for the Squadron, posting 22 points, six assists, seven steals and one rebound, while shooting 7-of-12 (.583) from the field, 3-of-6 (.500) from three-point range and a perfect 3-of-3 from the free throw line in 24 minutes of play.
