Lee is a top bowler for the Rebels and excels in the classroom. Johnson, a senior defensive back, has a 3.95 grade point average and 24 on his ACT.
Each winner received two game tickets and two pre-game field passes. The program is open to student-athletes participating in any sport, regardless of the time of the year when the sport is played. Students will be selected from the surrounding parishes and students must have a 3.0 or higher to be eligible for the program.
At the end of the Saints football season, all Scholar Athlete winners will be honored at an awards banquet.
