Local Racetrack Revving Up For Another Year of Unparalleled Events

NEW ORLEANS, LA (February 14, 2023) – NOLA Motorsports Park, New Orleans’ premier racing facility, announced its stacked lineup of events to come this year.

“We are thrilled to launch into another year of pedal to the metal programming here at NOLA Motorsports Park,” said David Pace, general manager. “From community oriented Bike Nights to thrill-filled racing there truly is fun for everyone at the track.”

2023 Top Events:

  • South Coast Gator Nationals | February 25 – South Coast Gator Nationals presented by Diesel Motorsports will be a fun-packed day for diesel truck owners and appreciators.   • SVRA NOLA Speedtour | March 9-12 – The Sportscar Vintage Racing association will return to NOLA Motorsports Park March 9-12 for the 2023 NOLA SpeedTour. The race will showcase the Trans Am series along with four other professional race car series conquering the road course. To top off the exciting weekend, the second-annual Cars & Crawfish Cook-Off is back on Saturday, complete with live music and all-you-can-eat crawfish!   • Bike Night | March – October – Bike Night is back with an extended schedule this year. New Orleans’ premier racing facility, welcomes cyclists of all ages and skill levels to grab their bike and pedal on NOLA Motorsports Park’s 2.75 mile FIA grade 2 road course escaping the traffic and construction of the city. Free bottled water will be available at the registration tent and a water bottle fill-up station will be located on the track. Food & beer will be available for purchase. Adults tickets are $10 and children ride for $5. Bike Night will be on select dates starting March 1 through October 4 from 5 – 8 p.m. For more information visit https://nolamotor.com/bike-night/.
  • Hemmings Tailgate Throwdown | March 31-April 1 – Hemmings, The World’s Largest Collector Car Marketplace, will present the Inaugural Tailgate Throwdown at NOLA Motor March 31-April 1. Tailgate Throwdown will be a weekend full of on-road and off-road activities for new and classic trucks and SUVs. From drag racing and autocross to dirt racing and trail rides, the Throwdown features something for every automotive enthusiast. The truck show portion will be open to all years, makes, and models of trucks, including lifted trucks, lowered trucks, and everything in between.

  • SRO Motorsports America + Fanatec GT World Challenge | April 28-30 – The international sports car weekend is coming back to The Big Easy. SRO America, SRO Motorsports America is set to bring world-class GT and Touring Car racing to all-star racing facility April 28-30. The action-packed weekend of racing will also feature Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, Pirelli GT4 America, and TC America powered by Skip Barber. A mega mix of over 100 high-speed machines from the top GT and Touring Car manufacturers will compete in New Orleans.
  • PanAmerican Superbike | May 5-7 – The premier ProAM motorcycle road racing series in North America will set up shop at NOLA Motor May 5-7.
