LSU’s Saul Garza, Zack Mathis sign professional baseball contracts as undrafted free agents
LSU juniors Saul Garza and Zack Mathis were not picked in this year’s five-round MLB Draft but both are headed to the pro ranks.
Garza has decided to sign with the Kansas City Royals while Mathis will sign a contract with the San Diego Padres.

Two other Tiger juniors, Cole Henry and Daniel Cabrera, were drafted last week.
