Brayden Jober

Brayden Jobert intends to sign with the St. Louis Cardinals rather than return to LSU for another season, he announced Monday on Instagram.

The former Northshore High, Nicholls and Delgado standout was drafted in the 12th round of the 2023 MLB Draft on Tuesday.

Jobert hit .273 (107-for-392) with 21 doubles, three triples, 32 homers, 107 RBI and 86 runs over the past two seasons at LSU including .301 this past season with 14 homers including a team-high three bombs in the College World Series for the national champion Tigers.

The 6-foot-2, 209-pound corner outfielder and left-handed hitter is also set to earn his degree in sports administration this summer.
