LSU adds Western Kentucky to 2025 football schedule

LSU will host Western Kentucky in football during the 2025 football season, FBSchedules.com reported Wednesday.

The Tigers welcome the Hilltoppers to Baton Rouge on Nov. 22, 2025. WKU will be paid a $1.8 million guarantee for the game, according to the contract.

LSU’s other known non-conference opponent in 2025 is Clemson. That battle of the Tigers is slated as the season opener for both teams at Clemson. LSU will host the ACC power in a return game in 2026.

Western Kentucky lost both previous matchups with LSU at Tiger Stadium in 2011 and 2015.
