Louisiana Christian basketball announces makeup dates for Xavier, HT doubleheaders

PINEVILLE – Louisiana Christian University’s basketball teams have announced changes to their collective conference schedule made necessary by incidents of inclement weather in Texas and Louisiana over the past few weeks.

The Wildcat men and women will host in-state rival Xavier on Monday, Feb. 13, at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at LCU’s H.O. West Fieldhouse. Those games had been scheduled for Jan. 24 but were postponed when heavy rains had threatened travel conditions for the Xavier teams.

LCU’s doubleheader against Huston-Tillotson has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 20. Those games are also scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Those games will now mark the regular-season finales for the Wildcats

Last week’s originally scheduled games against the Rams were postponed when HT’s teams were unable to leave Austin, Texas, due to icy road conditions.
